Contrary to most of you, it is now time to start my new gardening season. Last week I got a big bag of Miracle Grow and started my new seeds. I start a lot of the plants in pots before moving them to the garden. The actually garden will get tilled under this month and then replanted with all the new stuff.

Wow, our gardening season is just ending and I was only able to pick a handful of ripe tomatoes. We only had enough corn to share with Brett and Jamie for dinner yesterday. Too bad we can't ship our plants there and have the never-ending garden.
I guess that's what comes with living in the world of eternal sunshine :)
Happy BIRTHDAY to Mike from us. Are you guys doing anything fun to celebrate?
Jamie's grandma couldn't understand why we would plant our carrots in September when we lived in Texas. She kept thinking that we said we were harvesting them. Are you zone 9? Just wondering.
Good luck with the garden, I miss mine.
We're actually zone 10 (yeah for the tropics)!
