Another New Car

Last Saturday on my way home from work the porsche decided to spring a leak in the radiator and dump all my coolant onto the road. So there I sat at the bottom of the freeway exit ramp with no way to move. A kind man helped me push it to the side of the road until Mike could arrive but it wasn't good. After that we realized that as much as we like the porsche we need a reliable car to get me to and from work while we continue with it's "project" status. So on Wednesday we went and bought this...

A bright yellow 2008 Chevy Aveo. It has auto nothing and cost a whooping $11,000. It gets great milage, approx. 40 mpg on the freeway, and will work very well for getting me to work. I'll still drive the porsche around here but it needed way too much right away to make it my only car. And the Aveo does seat 5...

Continuing with the baby conversation we did find a problem with my last blood test. I don't seem to be ovulating. A normal progesterone level after ovulation is 4 or greater and mine was 1. So starting next month my doctor is going to stick me on Clomid to induce ovulation. It does increase the risk of twins but what do you do? If we have no results after 3 months I get to start seeing a fertility specialist. Cross your fingers for one baby right away :)

Twins aren't that bad :)
Do you and Mike only want one kid? Or just one for now?
Sorry about the porsche, I like the Aveo though, it's like a ray of sunshine.
Good luck with the clomid. I've known many people where it did the trick, and some where it didn't (my brother and his wife). I hope it works for you. Fair warning, I've heard it give you MAJOR mood swings. Enjoy the baby making sex :)

The car is adorable, and $11,000 for a 40pmg car: you scored!!! It's so cute, and I can't believe it seats five! What a deal... maybe I'll get one!

About the baby thing, oh my gosh I'm crossing my fingers FOR twins. If you have twins, I might just pack up and move to Florida- HOW FUN! TWO little babies? Well, you're gonna have to be a scrapbooker for SURE!!!

Good luck with baby producing... I'm glad that's not me anymore!

Jill, you made me snicker out loud by your comment on my bipolar post! I AM all over the place!!!
(By the way, Jon couldn't get through that post either. He got to the second or third paragraph, and goes, "what the hell?"... He doesn't so much get into the touchy-feely-whiny posts (apparently, I'm lots more deama than he was accustomed to having grown up in your fam)... good thing there's lots of women out there, who WILL suffer through the whacked posts! I'll try to be more normal in the future, but sleep deprivation does not assist me in that.

And, I'm still voting for twins!

See how tired I am? I can't even type. I meant to type DRAMA, I'm much more DRAMA than he was accustomed to experiencing having grown up in your fam.

Okay, maybe I'll try to go back to sleep now that I'm only 3 hours away from a blaring alarm...
